When Barokksolistene and Mamelukk met in a spontaneous collaborative version of The Alehouse Sessions at Den Ny Opera in Denmark, they immediately hit it off. Bubbling with mutual admiration and inspiration, they have now concocted an entirely new collaborative project. In the meeting between two ensembles with their feet firmly planted in tradition and a common desire for play and innovation, they have put together a stunning performance. Here, they whirl up drinking songs and slåttestev in a mixture of musical twists and turns and dance virtuosity. Music and dance, musicians and dancers melt together in an exuberant experience we look forward to sharing with you - raise your glass and sing along!

In addition to The Dancers’ Brew we are touring with a smaller version; Microbrew.
